Cleator Moor is a town and civil parish in Cumbria, England, within the historic county of Cumberland. It had a population of 6,936 at the 2011 census.
Below Dent Fell, the town is on the 190 mi Coast to Coast Walk that spans Northern England. On the outskirts of the town lies the village of Cleator. It was populated by Irish immigrants in the latter half of the nineteenth century, leading to the colloquial title of Little Ireland.
Cleator Moor is within the Copeland UK Parliamentary constituency, Trudy Harrison is the Member of parliament.
Before Brexit, it was in the North West England European Parliamentary Constituency.
